Missionaries Dropped by With a Message

The missionaries dropped by today and since I'm still out of a job I happen to be home. They were great Elders and I even got to fix one of their bicycles! The left a spiritual message of Mosiah 2:41.

It really lifted my spirits and helped me remember what's important. Bad times will come and go but we always have to remain faithful.

Can't block this ad. Reminds me of a digital eye project I read about once that used a camera, computer and eye monitor to replace rectangular areas in your vision (most likely ads) with whatever you chose.

Costco soda fail.

The new freaky Costco soda machines: Now with more fail!

I was freaked out by the soda machines at Costco. They make a "chunk
chunk" sound and the soda looked all wired. I thought it was broken
but I figured out it was a new type of soda fountain. I still didn't
like it. Today I saw his sign they added. Looks like I wasn't the only
one who thought it was broken. Right before I took this picture I saw
a little girl telling her younger sibling the machine didn't work. I
explained it was new but I guess sometimes newer isn't better
sometimes it's just freaky. I deleted the photo on my email on my
iPhone and I can't copy and paste so look for the photo in another post.

marketside is a fresh&easy rip-off owned by walmart.

So my wife and I ate pretty big fresh&easy fans. Zealots might be a
better word. The other week we saw a new market looked like a
fresh&easy rip off. It was called marketside and when I first saw it I
said I was probably owned by Wal-mart. She got a marketside flier
today and showed it to me. I decided to wikipedia of and it turns out
it IS owned by Wal-mart. First off let mr say that Wal-mart is the
devil. Turns out the first 4 stores are all right here near Mesa, AZ.
Leave it up to Wal-mart to rip off an idea like this. I think it shows
how well fresh&easy is doing. I personally hope marketside fails. It
reminds me of Microsoft ripping the Mac off by making Windows. Boo Wal-
mart! Yay fresh&easy. And if you are reading this take my advise and
boycott marketside and Wal-mart and go to fresh&easy instead.
